Bakery World 2023 exceeded all expectations, leaving attendees in awe of the incredible culinary innovations and unforgettable flavors showcased at the event. With record-breaking attendance and a vibrant atmosphere of creativity, we are proud to say that Bakery World 2023 was a qualified triumph in the world of baking.
The Bakery World 2023 held on September 14-16, 2023 at Waterfront Hotel and Casino, Cebu City was a phenomenal success! Organized by the Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI), the event gathered over 6,000 visitors from various regions, including international delegates.
During its grand premier in 2018, Bakery World was able to draw 57 exhibitors in 113 booths who all came from the leading brands in the baking and food industry. It was attended by 5,000 visitors with Resource Speakers and special guests from Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan and the USA. In 2023, the event brought together 73 exhibitors across 178 booths, showcasing the latest trends and technology in the baking and food industry.
Beyond the exhibition halls, the event delivered an exceptional learning experience through a series of educational seminars and live stage demonstrations led by renowned international and local experts. Esteemed speakers and master bakers from Australia, Malaysia, the United States, Taiwan, the United Kingdom, Singapore, France, and Japan took the spotlight, sharing global techniques, breakthrough innovations, and valuable market insights.
Highlights included the Cake Masters Competition categorized as Wedding Cake, Love the Philippines, and Bread Art, where talented bakers showcased their creativity and skill. The winners received a cash prize amounting Php 100,000 for the 1st placer, Php 60,000 for the 2nd placer, and Php 30,000 for the 3rd placer in each category. The event was part of the Mandaue Business Month 2023, aimed at promoting sustainable and socially-responsible entrepreneurship.
In 2018, Mandaue Chamber of Commerce and Industry launched the first ever and sucessful Bakery World Exhibition at the JCenter Mall in Mandaue City. Thanks to the daring leadership and vision of MCCI Past President Stanley Go who started it all. During its grand premier in 2018, Bakery World was able to draw 57 exhibitors in 113 booths who all came from the leading brands in the baking and food industry. With the notable success of its first run last 2018, Bakery World returns this year with more booths, more learning opportunities, and more fun. Bakery
It is the largest baking and food service exhibition in the Visayas, is back and scheduled to open on September 14 to 16, 2023 in Mandaue City, Cebu.
This project was created in order to make Cebu the cake capital of the world, as well as bring “Instagramable” photos of the cakes which give them more awareness of the event.
